Bitbrains is looking for Engineers (m/f)*

Bitbrains is a young, innovative and fast-growing IT-company. Within Bitbrains we work with high caliber professionals. All our employees must be capable of translating customer functionality needs and wishes into design.

With their outstanding communication skills, they are able to explain the rational behind those translations to decision makers. But they can also build and run these complex internet infrastructures. Extensive relevant experience and a hands-on attitude is needed to qualify for a position with the Bitbrains team.

The Engineer we are looking for is an all-round infrastructure professional who wants to expand his professional skills and is constantly focused on optimizing system/application performance, work procedures and the way these are implemented and adhered to within his team. He also understands the impact of a solution on the implemented infrastructure and is able to communicate and advice risks associated by performing changes with customers.

Profile
  • Academic level
  • Minimum 5 years experience
  • Good command of the English language (spoken as well as written)
  • Good command of the Dutch language is considered a plus
Professional competencies
  • You are familiar with ITIL-based service management processes
  • You have solid experience with and profound knowledge of at least three of the following technologic areas:
    • Windows Server Operating Systems, and Microsoft server platforms such as SQL Server, Sharepoint and Biztalk
    • Linux
    • Cisco Networking Technology
    • VMWare Virtual Infrastructure
    • Scripting technologies, such as the Linux shell and Powershell
